Decluttering

A chore focused long weekend. Yesterday we instructed estate agents to market our house. We won’t move unless we get a great offer but are curious to see what it’s worth and starting to think about our end game, which doesn’t involve Essex!

Decluttering has commenced, yesterday we started with the kitchen to create cupboard space to get stuff off the counters. Today the downstairs cloakroom; the cupboard under the stairs and my office plus another corner of the kitchen all got done. I think of myself as quite minimalist so I don’t know why I have accumulated so many glass jars and plastic tubs. Some very satisfying recycling. And the paper in my office, wah, I am so excited to be able to sit in a more tranquil space for work next week!!
