I wasn't going to say anything on the 'hot' subject of the moment, that of seemingly bland or thoughtless comments on journals, but in this case I have to.

Whatever opinion you hold on the subject, please just give a thought to a lovely, genuine girl who takes the time to go through lots of journals and comment. She is one of these rare souls, who sees the good in everyone, she looks for the positive in people's photos, is someone who acknowledges the time and effort so many have put into their Blip entries by offering stars and a wee comment. Where on earth is the harm in that?? I am dumbfounded at such a notion.

In my opinion, it smacks of bullying. I've been at the receiving end of that before (not on Blip) and it's a horrible, lonely place to be. If you don't like the girl's comments, then just ignore them and move on. Whatever happened to, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all?"

I, for one, have enough to deal with without this one, safe, lovely haven of Blipland being sullied by such negativity. I thought it was a supportive community on here, different to anywhere else, and this has been the only thing so far that has seriously made me consider leaving. It's just unnecessary unkindness. Simple as that.
