Birthday bubbles
It isn't summer yet but it sure did feel like it today! The cicadas are more and more visible as the temperatures go up but I could not bring myself to photograph one just yet. Instead I chose to blip one of the unusual water/ bubble windows from inside a restaurant that I went to today to celebrate my niece Samantha's birthday. It had fiber optic lighting that kept changing the color of water/ bubbles in the glass. The name of the restaurant was 709. It's located near the beach and there was a wonderful ocean breeze in that area. The food was delicious and it was nice to spend time with my three adult nieces.
There is no beautiful breeze back home and all I can say is thank goodness for air-conditioning! Between the heavy pollen and the heat today my head was feeling like it was way too heavy for my neck to hold upright. Spring allergies have an effect on me similar to a sleeping pill. Yawning and yawning, eyes tearing and all I want to do is close my eyes and sleep. I think I was meant to live near the ocean where there are less trees and more fresh air.
