Orchid

...the one I blipped in mono a few nights ago. It's in full swing now.

Home at the end of my three-day stretch. I was sent to one of the two smaller ER locations tonight, which isn't my favorite but was fine. One of the security guards asked if I'd stay the overnight shift because it had been so quiet - she thought I'd brought good luck. Hospital folks seem a superstitious bunch, and it does rub off (I probably shouldn't even mention the word "quiet"). I told her that's certainly not the case when I'm at the main hospital, and she laughed. 

Rainy earlier and, I think, a lovely, slowly unfurling spring day.
