40 Years!

40 years ago today, I arrived in Spain!

I flew in, from my then home, of Rio de Janeiro.

The plan was to stay in Alicante Province,
for about 3 weeks, visiting my parents
who were already living in Spain,
And then for me to continue my journey
back to London.

I left England in 1975, heading first for South Africa ~
living and working in Johannesburg and then Durban.
Before moving on to Brazil,
and becoming a full time mum in Rio.

I never expected the joys of living, and working,
on the Mediterranean coast of Spain,
would be so persuasive!!
