A day in the boatyard

Our boat was lifted out of the water yesterday. Much to our surprise, there was less marine growth than we had expected. Underwater there was a fine coating of brown, which we were able to remove with a scraper or potscrubber. Around the waterline the algae was a pretty green colour. After making a good start today, we have retreated to the nearest Premier Inn for a bath and a meal. That way we can make an early start to doing it all over again tomorrow.
