Cafe Nero Moment

Popped into Nero for a coffee and croissant.

We started speaking to the older couple in the chairs next to us. I enjoyed their chat. We learned about the Meerkat App that gives you 25% off pastries in Nero (amongst other things) if you take out a policy with them. Double Nero points if you take your own mug in, that they both lost partners in the Covid years and they have got together (quickly I thought as they went in a Caribbean cruise just after lockdown when the cruises were cheap but no judgement from me though), been to Prague, Budapest, Norwegian cruise, the Carribean and away somewhere else soon. That their surnames Are Hay and Kay which causes confusion in some hotels. She gets her hair cut with Rae as well so I will quiz him about them in a couple of weeks :)

Another afternoon gardening, tidying up. It’s good to smell the Earth again! Mr Robin joined me and he/she was beautiful close up!

A very special birthday boy tomorrow.
