Far from Home

I'm not sure that anyone is thinking of eating again today, but you never know.

But yes we did manage to eat again last night: sea bass, and coleslaw with cumin and coriander. It was delicious and slipped down very easily.
There seems to be no end to our gourmet eating. However, enough is enough, and Berkeleyblipper and I are resolved to stick to one main meal a day; we are not having to eat to beat the cold after all.

While the men went into Santa Rosa at lunch time to have a beer and a stroll, the ladies went for a spot of retail therapy to REI, a sort of American version of Scotland's Tiso but with a bigger range of products, and then for coffee outside on the main drag watching the world go by.

This swan was spotted as we returned to the car. He was seemed fascinated by his alter ego in the doorway- but he came with a price on his head tail.

I dedicate this swan to the erstwhile D77, who has something of an issue about them.
