Skeleton Trees

Quick dash into Reguengos at the end of the day to get more cat food, making sure they have enough for Eduardo to keep them well fed while we're away.

I find Reguengos quite an ugly town on the whole, with some garishly painted buildings. This is the Santo António square, one of the nicer ones, looking OK in the late sunshine. Notice the elderly gentleman looking at me, and the cats he'd been feeding behind his bench.

Or maybe I've imbibed the Mourão attitude to Reguengos, which is weirdly antagonistic. Reguengos is much newer, but way bigger now, and the Mouranenses appear to feel insulted by that...

Gratefuls:
- managing, after a morning on the phone and laptop, and with the help of Tiago, to get permission to do some burning of olive trimmimgs tomorrow
- quick chat with Guillaume at the supermarket
- our automatic irrigation system working fine after months unused; time to start it up again
