Happy March hares !

It was with regret that we left our Stable Cottage in Powys House Grounds.  I gather the house itself is available with 8 bedrooms!  I loved it!  Full of quirky bits and pieces like this lamp with hares playing.  On either side of the bed the lamps had little hedgehogs, a tiny one peering over the lampshade! 

Top left our cottage is the end one.  top right: looking down from the stairs leading to the bed area on first floor - a very comfortable bed!   - bottom left. Chess pieces in the garden, also areas for kids to play!  Great kitchen, toilets up and down and shower room upstairs.
The lady is charming !

Hope we go there again some day!  On the way home we popped into Llangollen for a few bits and near home a stop for food!  
Now expecting the girls for the night soon so need to eat!
