Last day
We enjoyed our last evening, eating with the group in the hotel. Sadly San Jose has changed a lot in the 6 years since we were here last. It is no longer safe to walk around in the evenings.
This morning we walked up the road to a butterfly place where we stalked morfu, the spectacular large blue butterflies. However when the land they close their wings and the other side is brown. Maybe not as colourful but it has beautifully intricate markings. The one I’ve chosen for my last blip of this trip is Siproeta Stelenes I think. we saw beauties - gold, yellow, orange, black and white, red and black and more.
We have to be out of our room at 12 but our taxi isn’t coming till 4.30 pm for the 9pm flight to Paris which takes 12 hours. There we’ll be for 6 more till our evening flight home. We won’t see the family - #2 daughter and family are in Northern Ireland for Phil’s mum’s 70th. #3 is on rugby tour with Nathaniel and Ella has gone with a friend and family to a caravan. Poor Luke will be working.
