Maxie.

Maxie (13 this year) only enjoys walks on the beach. Her hips and knees are ricketty, so walks on hard surfaces are out of the question. She was a rescue from a breeder (and Minnie2's grandmother) and had spent nearly a decade just in an enclosure and looking after pups. We adopted her when Minnie1 died, and everything was a new wonder to her: seeing the sea, wearing a collar and lead, going up steps, riding in a car, meeting cats and tortoises... She is the gentlest soul imaginable, and likes every person and creature she meets.
