Old vibes revived

Thanks to #seizetheday and Mr M, I was able to accompany them to a preview of the new Ad Gefrin visitor centre and distillery at Wooler.
It's a fabulous place. It centres on the nearby Anglo-Saxon palace (Ad Gefrin) by Yeavering Bell, and also the Northumbrian whisky distilling heritage, that disappeared a century or two ago.
The museum is small, but beautiful, and has some lovely pieces on loan.
Pretty decent café/bistro too!
