ALONG CAME A SPIDER

This picture was a huge surprise once I saw it on my computer. This guy was so little that I didn't see any of his gross incredible detail until the photo was downloaded. Aside from his hairy horribleness, I'd almost think he looks cartoonish - complete with white, hairy moles (eewww!) on his back. From the various shots, it appears as though he has four eyes. (I don't know if he has pupils, or if that's just the reflection of the camera.) And what's going on with that green, ugly mouth?! (He is just starting to run away which is why his legs aren't nicely showing for his photo op.)

The quality isn't the best, and even though I had some clearer, sweet shots of flowers, I just had to blip this guy because of his unusual character. There wasn't anything I have available to sharpen this up, and no opportunity to go back and try again. Guess he got a little camera shy. (The background is a pollen-coated black grill cover - actually the magnified detail of that surprised me too.)
