Extra High Tide

Exceptionally high Spring Tide at Largs Pencil.

The Pencil stands 70ft high and was built in 1912 to commemorate The Battle of Largs in 1263 when Norway’s King Haco was defeated as his ships floundered in a storm on the rocky shore.
