I was very pleased to see the Camellia in Bitts Park is finally flowering.   I’ve been keeping an eye on it over the last few weeks.  After grocery shopping went to my usual tyre place for two rear ones and came away with four new ones, so quite an expensive day.  Got home before high tide and after a cuppa went back out to have a look,  getting there just in time to see it starting to go over the road.  By the time I got my wellies on the road was completely covered, so we both had a paddle in the road.
