This is fine

Feeling a bit like we are in the meme tonight... We were going about our usual business after dinner -- I'm still trying to read La Fronde ! -- when I ask J if he could smell smoke. It turns out that a pile of garbage across the street was on fire - photo taken from the balcony. Very thankful for the firefighters, and worried this is just the start of what they will be dealing with tonight. The demonstrations are fairly far from here but the news reports are worrisome. We really are fine, though, and I truly don't mean this to alarm anyone!
