Edinburgh from the Air

This is the third time I've blipped from the 'Britain from the Air' exhibition but I couldn't resist doing so again with this view of central Edinburgh.

The first thing that catches the eye is the bright greenery of St Andrew's Square (bottom centre of the picture), but this is a great view of the rest of central Edinburgh, which is spread out before you, with Princes Street Gardens and the the castle at the top left.

Why this blip was irresistible is that this picture is itself located in St Andrew's square, and thereby becomes the kind of self-referential stuff I enjoy.
