Davaar Lighthouse
Davaar Lighthouse sits on the small island of Davaar at the mouth of Campbeltown Loch. It is linked to the mainland by the Dhorlin, a bank of shingle which can be crossed at low tide.
For me, that crossing had to be at 7am to make sure I could walk there and back.
An enjoyable ramble, worth getting up for...... then breakfast in Campbeltown once I was back safe and sound.
