My New Hobby
After seeing some photos from a Chinese friend of mine who makes models of tanks and old military vehicles I was totally blown away by what he did. The models were very old tanks and the like from WWI and WWII. The art of it was unbelievable and left an impression on me. The tanks were aged by many different layers of paint and what I can only imagine was hours of pain staking work to make them as real as what you would see in the real world. They had details of rust and dirt and bullet holes and basic wear and tear from battle.
Although my little '67Morris Mini Cooper is nothing like that I'm still very proud of it. It's my first attempt of a model and I did one which was a replica of the 1967 Monte Carlo Rally Winner. Mini's also won in 1964, '65, and '66. No British car won this race since this 1967 car. #177.
