Grey skies at Hampton Court

A quick visit,  before the rain, to Hampton Court Palace this morning with a friend. As I have an annual membership I go there quite often but this is the first time since the pandemic that I have seen it so busy on a weekday…with lots and lots of school groups.
The daffodils in the ‘Wilderness’ are in full bloom and there are many tulips with buds . I’m looking forward to going for the annual Tulip Festival in about a months time, last year it was very impressive.
Interesting to see the statues are still covered, maybe expecting more frosts. 

I went swimming again this morning and did one length of front crawl….my watch detected it a freestyle! However it also identified some of my breaststroke as freestyle too today…so not full proof! 

It is currently raining so I hope it will stop so that I can go for a dog walk!
