9 degrees & rising

Haven’t been here since October and it was wonderful to be back in.

9 degrees is cold but not too bad. The ‘drop’ afterwards, when your core suddenly and overwhelmingly chills, about 5-10 minutes after you’re out - is not that pleasant but you have to just laugh it off. (It’s because you’re freezing hands and feet send cold blood into your middle core).

Had lunch earlier with friends from a Partnership Church. That was nice. A good day off but I didn’t get the ironing done because Dot.T was completing a 24 hour written assessment and decided the lounge was where she should do it. I find that I can’t iron 20 odd shirts without some TV on.
