Queens of the World

A fun visit to the Diana Memorial Playground in Kensington Gardens. The manager, Ryan, guided a group of Friends of Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens round before it opened to the public. It's so popular with children that at busy times there are queues to get in.

Ryan told us that the galleon is getting old and is due for replacing later this year. Apparently children climb up the rigging and get to the top of the mast. It's good for them to experience risk. But perhaps best to avoid serious injury!
