Mystery abstract

A clue: after three months, it finally went off to the great compost heap in the sky today! 

Despite the forecast, a sunny morning and it stayed dry until late afternoon. Managed to get some sleep last night so a better day, but a busy day: a visit from the chiropodist, supermarket delivery etc, etc. And you’ll be pleased to know that of the four loads of laundry I did today, not one ended up in the fridge!
