Book of the moment.

Have had plenty of time to sit and read this past week. Have enjoyed this book about the unexpected turns in the life of Lady Anne Glenconner.

Have seen her being interviewed a few times on tv. At 90 she is quite a woman!
She was Maid of Honour at the Queen’s Coronation and later , a Lady in Waiting to Princess Margaret.

She was the long suffering wife of Colin Tennant who did not treat her well . Despite this she writes with humour and honesty.

A very blustery day here. Wild and extremely windy. Saw Ali , E and E this afternoon.

The beautiful tulips were from Fifi and family for Mother’s Day. Have also added an extra of Ali and family’s Mother’s Day gift. Unfortunately the homemade delicious cakes have been devoured!
