Tough enough to withstand the wind

I woke this morning to the sounds of a very strong wind blowing over the bins which had recently been emptied.

These daffodils were growing in the shelter of the trees in Maxwell Park and although a little bowed they were not flattened as the wind continued its relentless gusting.
