Ouch!

Recently, the boy has been really keen to help me cook. Usually he's very good at following instructions, but this time my enthusiastic little sous chef got a bit too close to a hot hob. Luckily it had only been on for a few minutes so was not as hot as it could have been, and he only touched the side (he was trying to hold the pot steady whilst stirring). It's actually not as bad as it looks, the bandage was just to stop him putting the hand with the burn cream on it in his mouth or wiping it on his bedding. And one should not underestimate the psychological power of having a bandage just like the dragon in your favourite book! As you can see, he quickly had his cheeky smile back :)
