Heading North on the Salish Sea

Follow that barge and itty bitty tug (look large) out to sea and you will be to Port Townsend or north to Canada or out the Straits of Juan de Fuca to the Pacific Ocean.   Whidbey island on the right.   Taken from outside the restaurant in the marina in Edmonds where we had a lovely lunch today with 2 of H’s old Medical Partners and spouses.  iPhone pix in extra…(6 with white hair and glasses! …. partners in the middle-1 younger , 1 older) with blown out background and a big white transport boat to Port Townsend.   The blip is from the sony at f4 (mistake!) but I still liked it because it stirs my imagination…thinking about sailing this route to the Gulf Islands on a nice day like today (except it was a north wind)    We did have a little walk to the park just south of the marina.
