80/365 Gull

I've resisted the temptation to title it as 'Seagull' as I'm reliably informed that there is no such bird! There are different gulls, each has its own name, but not a single one is a seagull. That's a generic name for all of them. I don’t know what this one is.

Swiftly moving on then, today we went swimming this morning and later met friends for a late lunch at the pub in the next village. We walked there, about a mile and a quarter, but were kindly given a lift home afterwards.

Weather has been quite pleasant, though windy, and we managed to get  two lots of washing dry before rain came in this evening.

Returning to the blip I sometimes wonder if these gulls ever return to the coast as they seem to have a good life inland. In Stratford there are usually quite a few down by the river and they do well out of scraps of food being thrown away by visitors and picking up some of the bread being fed to the swans, ducks, and geese that also frequent the river.
