Another Familiar Golf Blip

It was certainly a mixed bag of weather and quality on the golf course this morning but I ended up with a reasonable score.

Regular followers will recognise the view in this blip! We caught up with the group by the big tree a couple of holes later and they turned out to be two fellow ex- English teachers and Heads of Department, one former ex-Deputy Head and fellow consultant and an old friend who used to work with Tess. We all agreed it was good to be out on the course rather than in the classroom!

Our regular Tuesday date with Sophie ensued.

Last night’s Keep Fat became a bit of a drama when our most senior member at 76 slipped and hit his head on the gym wall. A couple of us spent an hour in the local A&E with him while his cut head was stapled then accompanied him home to make sure he got there safely.

He’s apparently aching all over today but otherwise none the worse for wear!
