Exploring!

I’m on leave from work this week so I’ve treated myself to a few days away. I’m fairly local to home but in an area I’ve not visited before, near to the coast. This is the view from one of the windows of the shepherd’s hut where I’m staying. It’s been so long since we’ve had a break and I needed a change of scene, to explore, take photos, read and reflect.

The weather is quite typical of the spring equinox, windy with heavy downpours, but late this afternoon as I arrived the sun came out. I’ve had an invigorating walk on a sandy expanse of beach and I’m now sitting cosy in my hut, catching up with blip and listening to Classic FM. How fortunate I am.
