Little ditch flow two-ways

I must have walked past this ditch hundreds of times over the years, but it was only today that I noticed it flowed in two directions where a burn drained into it from under the road. The water which flows to the right is on a futile excursion, because it all ends up together in Loch Awe and Loch Etive eventually.
Extra is one of the first butterburr flowers I've seen this year. I'm sure they weren't there yesterday!
