What we did today............................

Yesterday I was so tired (after walking 15 miles the day before) that I didn't bother to eat anything, apart from half a carrot so this morning I had a big orange poo today on my walk. Lol! Obviously when I came back from my walk, I was very hungry, so I gobbled up all my breakfast today in super quick time.

Ann had an unexpected day off work and it was a lovely sunny day, so she said, 'Trixie, it's about time I tidied up the balcony ready for the summer. I need to get rid of all the dead plants, the solar powered lights that aren't working and all the other unwanted stuff that is lying about out there.' Mmmm............... by 'other unwanted stuff', she meant my rather lovely sticks that I've collected. An hour later she had a big bin bag full of dead plants, dead solar powered lights and all my rather lovely sticks!!

Then she said, 'Trixie, I need to buy some new plants and some new solar powered lights. Would you like to come with me and I'll take you for a play on the beach afterwards.' So that is what we did.

I had to wait in the car while my human went into TKMax, that had nothing to do with new stuff for the balcony but apparently it was in the vicinity of the other shops, B&M (for solar powered lights) and The Range (for plants). She also wanted to look at a sun lounger in the Range that she'd spotted online, as she wanted to lie on it and see if it were comfy. Not for our Edinburgh balcony (as that's too small for a sun lounger), but if we're going to spend a few summer months in St Ives, a 'rocking' sun lounger could be quite relaxing. The Range did not have the 'rocking' sun lounger. Ann needs to go back online and see if it has a 5-digit ref no because if it does, it's only sold online which is pretty stupid considering if one is going to be spending a few hours a day lying on it, it needs to be tested out to see if it's comfy!!!

Anyway, after all that, we went down to Porty Beach and I played with my ball. There was a really aggressive Beagle who kept chasing me. When I'm playing with my ball I don't want to play with any other doggies so I ignored him. He just wouldn't give up. Eventually, he annoyed me so much that I just turned around and snarled at him. Then his owners captured him and apologised to Ann for his behaviour. Ann apologised to his owners because I snarled. Seriously?! He had annoyed me for at least 10 mins. I think I'd been really patient with him?!

Home, lunch for Ann and a bit of a catch up on TV. It was still lovely and sunny, but she's pretty lazy these days so she didn't have the energy to re-pot the plants and put up the new solar powered lights. She'll do that another day and then she'll feel as if she's done something constructive. Lol!

This afternoon we popped over to Argos (which is in the big Sainsbury's) to buy a shelving unit to put inside one of our built in wardrobes. Ann is on a de-cluttering mission. She bought a couple of things in Sainsbury's and was very angry to find that there were only 2 real live check out operators and more than 20 self service ones. She knows it's an 'old person' thing but why is there absolutely NO personal service, anywhere these days?

Went up Blackford Hill after that and I kept rolling around on the grass. Ann thought I must be rolling around in fox poo, but I wasn't. I was just rolling around for the fun of it.

And here we are............................. Tuesday evening. I asked for my dinner at 5pm and gobbled it up in super quick time. And now I'm snoozing again.

Happy Tuesday evening Blippers. xx
