Cherry Blossom

So nice to see the cherry blossom and leaves starting to emerge - a bit late this year I think. A better day today after a wet start - sunshine and showers and a bit windy this morning. I did a couple of hours in the garden - weeding, skimming the pond, and taking the weed matting off the large raised bed planter and turning the top over. That was enough for the first proper gardening day of the year. I'm quite surprised how much damage there is to my garden wall and retaining walls from the prolonged and very cold snaps this winter - I need to work out how much needs doing and get a quote from a builder.
