it rained

quite a lot - I went out into the garden and took photos while the rain dripped off the broken bit of my umbrella straight down the back of my jeans (inside) - I don't like this kind of rain all that much, it's very wet and today was also cold. I don't like that either. But still, it makes boring things look pretty and it's a good excuse to light the fire and cook stodgy puddings to eat with custard....
