The markers
This evening our Rotary club, the Howe, hosted the Primary School Quiz for 8 of our local village primary schools. Each sent a team of 4 P7s and the hall was full of parent and teacher supporters.
It was great fun - I was one of the “runners” handing out and collecting the question papers for each of the 10 rounds.
The blip shows our treasurer and chief marker adding up the final scores and there was a clear winner - the team of 3 girls and 1 boy was presented with club’s shield and they will go on to the area finals in a few weeks time.
Otherwise a bit of a lazy day with jet lag still evident and it was fairly dreich with a constant drizzle so I gave the Monday golf a miss.
I did download the photos I had taken with my “proper” camera and telephoto lens in Vietnam and I was delighted with the results so it won’t be put back in the cupboard and forgotten. Having said that the convenience of always having the much less bulky iPhone in my pocket giving perfectly satisfactory results means it will probably still be providing most of my blips.
