Mahogany and Brass

Fellow blipper Lesley Alsford chose the same blip subject as me this evening - one of the splendid large format cameras brought by Dave Shrimpton to our photographic society where he was talking about his love of large format analogue photography and, particularly, wet collodion and other interesting processes.  He was clearly very enthusiastic about the work he was doing and it made for a very entertaining evening.

However, I will not be returning to wet darkroom work:  I prefer the comfort of my office chair and computer, free from the smells of chemicals.
