A New Year

Today we’ve been up to Longshaw to meet with our bird monitoring colleagues to plan for the season ahead. As the meeting was at 1:30, we went after breakfast to have time for a walk and lunch in the café beforehand. I went down to look at the log piles I’ve been monitoring for fungi. An early Spring find was this Oyster Mushroom.
