Mother's Day (flowers)

Had a great sleep at my Mum's last night.  Got up to have breakfast with her and give her her Mother's Day gifts - and found that she had had a great sleep too :)  She also seemed very pleased with her card and gifts (she had a couple of the fancy M&S chocolate biscuits with her breakfast) :)

Once we were all up properly, Mum and I popped out to the local Budgens to get some milk, and for Mum to gain a bit of confidence going there in her wheelchair.  Only a short walk, and not the most exciting destination, but it was a lovely sunny, spring-like day, and Mum said she felt more confident now.  Also spotted these flowers that have been planted (and handily signposted!) at the bottom of her road.  Very sweet.

Had a sandwiches and cream tea lunch (we'd brought scones and clotted cream, etc, with us), which seemed to go down well too.  Got packed up and headed off after that - had a good drive and we were home by about 5pm.  Naughtily treated ourselves to another takeaway for dinner - well, we are officially still on holiday ;)
