Apollo

I was in Liverpool today at the Philharmonic Hall and I hadn’t noticed these shallow relief panels before (there was a similar one opposite). They looked like Eric Gill but looking it up they are by a local sculptor Edmund Thompson (no relation) who was no doubt influenced by the more famous artist.
