The Remains.

It’s heartbreaking.  The Angel, Care charity shop, the Olive and Vine Restaurant and Blown Away have all been destroyed.  I had hoped that somehow the 11th century etching on the wall in the Olive and Vine might have been saved but seeing the devastation this morning I didn’t think that’s possible.   The town is subdued.  
For those who know the area, it seems the road will continue to be closed for another fortnight for fear that passing lorries could cause the building to collapse.
The local paper, The Chichester and Midhurst Observer is calling for the Angel, a Grade II listed building, to be rebuilt and restored.
