Sunlight in the afternoon

One of the unexpected bonuses of living in a central city location is the abundance of glass. Once the new flats opposite my house become occupied this may become less appealing, but for now it is a delight because in addition to the morning sunlight, my east-facing flat is bathed in light reflected from the windows of the buildings opposite during the afternoon (illuminating, among other things, the printing press).
