No hangovers here
We had a lovely stroll around Ghent. It has such a lovely vibe. We poked our noses into the opera house, and were warmly greeted and then, shown around the theatre by a young man who is part of the theatre’s production staff. What a bonus. I wanted to visit the municipal library which is described as ‘more than a library’. So true! It has it a vibrant busy atmosphere with shop/cafe and large spaces to meet others . The designers were awarded the Nobel Prize for Architecture. Everywhere we go folks are warm and welcoming. I could definitely live here.
I really like these dancing pixies which I spotted on top of one of the buildings in the centre of town. Other shots in extras are the Krook library building, and a dragon weather vane which had been on top of the belfry tower.
