Last Drive

These stones (from the quarry at Ham Hill) line the drive to a burial ground above our village, called Higher Ground.  I've blipped the inside of the place before, but today's hill fog lent a certain air to the surroundings and I decided that a monochrome composition would suit the place.

It's a "sustainable" place to be buried, and I fancy it for my ending, I must admit.  There are DIY funerals here, costing less, which adds to the attraction :-)
