Grey Heron

I went up to the loch early this morning but didn't avoid the dog walkers. There was only one heron came over that being the young male. He had 3 attempts but was chased back each time. We eventually found a spot near the path where there were no dogs. I was able to give him a fairly good feed before he got chased back as the group with their dogs approached (although to be fair I think he had enough and was ready to go anyway). As soon as the dogs had gone the crows appeared and got their biscuits!  The geese also like the biscuits so a couple of them had a share. I am just buying enough fish to cover a day at a time now as I am not sure how long the heron will come over.
