Brackets and moss
This morning I was playing for the service at church. As it is Mothering Sunday everyone was presented with a bouquet of flowers.
On my way home I called at O’s house where I was given a lovely card and a pot of hyacinths.
This afternoon I went for a walk along the canal and in the reserve at Queen’s Head. There were lots of signs of spring and plenty of birdsong although none showing well enough for a photo. I heard my first chiffchaff of the year, it’s good to know that migrant birds are beginning to arrive.
My blip is of bracket fungi on a mossy log.
