Everything’s coming up (roses)
Today has been the first Morning since…. Before the chest infection / leg injury that I have felt able to get up and go to the allotment.
We were there by nine o clock and I was pleasantly surprised by the state of the place. It wasn’t too wild and overgrown; and the onions and garlic we planted October was coming up beautifully!
We didn’t stay long … maybe an about and a half and then came down to the house and I started in the back garden and himself had a shower and settled down for the foot ball (don’t ask it wasn’t a good result)
I started by saying I was going to ‘trim the bamboo’. But as you can see from the picture ….. there is no bamboo left. I whipped it all. Also cut a lump of next door neighbours tree off.
And the. I took out the electric shears and sheared the ivy away.
Then I had a lovely hour long chat with Tooli - telling me about her lovely holiday in Maldives; being back at work and future plans!
By the time. Went in discovers I was completely frozen. I had to have a really long hot shower to get some feeling back in everything, and then I took to my chair with my Crochet and I have not moved since
