Mothers Day

Had a bit of a lie-in and had a relaxing day. These flowers arrived by post from my son John. I am talentless when it comes to flower-arranging - I  just pop them in a vase and hope for the best.
These were recovering from their journey and are just opening out.
Our tree peony which I thought had 2 buds on when I checked it yesterday - it has 4 buds, which I noticed today, on a closer inspection.
