Hawthorn

What a busy day at work.  I had a few things that I had to do,  but far too much random and urgent  nonsense got in the way of the tasks in hand.   I was quite worn out by the end of the day.  I did manage to escape for half an hour at lunchtime.  Thank goodness.
 
An old school friend of TT’s came round in the evening.  He was up in the area.  It was lovely to catch up with him over a takeaway curry. 
 
BB’s rugby was straight after school today and was an indoor fitness session.  I was delighted as he didn’t come home covered in mud.  Later he had football training.
 
I spotted these fresh green hawthorn leaves emerging in the lunchtime sunshine, and also last year’s oak leaves still hanging on (extra).
