Love This Duck
My daughter tested positive for Covid on Friday so our planned Mothering Sunday lunch out had to be cancelled. Fortunately she doesn't feel that ill. She drove over this morning with a lovely cork tray for me which she thought would be good for photographing finds on. We had a nice socially distanced chat in the garden. I was feeling sad as I haven't got Ollie dog to 'mother' and I knew she'd be feeling the same about Frankie dog. I picked some wild white dog violets and some dog's mercury, which grow next to our dogs' graves, and put them in a tiny vase for her together with the last Snow Fox snowdrop bloom.
I photographed the beautiful duck above near where I have got images of the silver wood duck. I thought it might be a female silver wood duck but that isn't the case. I haven't been able to identify it but I think it is an ornamental escape.
I got a shot of a mink swimming past a female mallard. My third pic of this animal at Fishers Green. (Extras)
